Charminster Pre-school is  a well-established charity run Pre-school which has been operating since 1971. 
 

We are located within the grounds of St. Mary's First School, in a purpose built log cabin with plenty of outdoor play space.

We offer places for children from after their 2nd birthday through to 4 years/entry into school.

We are a Pre-school who strongly believes in the benefits of outdoor play and as such spend the majority of our day enjoying the outdoors in all weathers.

​

We were inspected by Ofsted in November 2022 and were delighted to be graded as 'Outstanding' across all areas.

We have close links with St Mary’s First School, Charminster. The children in their final Pre-school year participate in a range of school based activities which support their transition into the reception class.
